How preaching penance and peace related to our life, (4:1)

In this way the Order of Friars Minor came into being so that, living in communion, they might witness to the Kingdome of God preaching penance and peace by example and word. Preaching penance and peace is fundamentally related to our very existence as friars minor. Hence we call it as the DNA of our life as followers of St. Francis.

We become leaven of justice, unity and peace in the Church (14:5)

What is our role in the Church is the point discussed in the Article II of our constitution. Here it is explicitly stated that our role is to become the leaven of justice, unity and peace. This is how we manifest the spirit of our life as lesser brothers.

3. Our life of prayer and proclaiming peace and penance (46:7)

Beholding Christ in all creatures, let us go about in the world proclaiming peace and penance and inviting all to praise God as witnesses of His love. Our preaching of peace and penance is not a secular activity but it evolves from our beholding of Christ in everything. This Christo-centrism is that which gives life for our work of peace. It becomes the result of our deep contemplation of Christ and the world.

How to be present in the world (106:4)

According to the spirit of our father Francis as it is presented in our constitution our is not a fugamundi community but to be present in the world. But how are we to be present not as Lords and masters or to subdue the world but "To serve the living God and in Franciscan love, humility and joy spreading peace and goodness for the benefit of the world and of the Church." We are called to be at the service of God, As joyful messengers of peace and goodness not for our wellbeing but for the wellbeing of the people and the Church.

5. Commissioned to bring peace and lasting harmony (107: 1)

Moved by the spirit of St. Francis and inspired by the love of brothers and taught by the Gospel we strive to bring into peaceful and lasting harmony those who are divided by hatred, envy, conflicting ideologies, or differences of class, race, religion, and nationality. (Our geographical area is the apt place to realize this call of the constitution where people are being divided on the basis of conflicting ideologies and hatred etc..)

Join Hands with others for the realization of universal Justice and peace (107:4)

The universal nature of the Spirit of Francis is evident from our Constitution when it calls us to collaborate with initiatives and institution for the realization of universal justice and peace. Let us therefore be eager to co-operate with initiatives and institutions both national and international that work appropriately for the unity of the human race, for universal justice and for peace.

Our life of Poverty built on a culture of Sharing based on a heightened sense of God (72:5)

We are called to use the resources with a sense of responsibility and care for the future generations. We need to live and work with a deep awareness of God and based on sound ethical and religious principles and with a deep sense of human dignity and justice among the people.

8. Conference level collaboration for formation and to promote JPIC (144:6)

Our constitution specifically intends that there be creative and active collaboration between the provinces. It is stated clearly that it is the duty of the provincial and councillors to promote collaboration for the formation, evaluation of our life and to promote Justice, peace and Integrity of creation (JPIC).

9. Fearlessly proclaim conversion, truth, justice and peace of the Gospel (147:5)

The most prophetic aspect of our constitution is evident in this section. We are called to stand fearlessly for the gospel values of conversion, justice, truth and peace of the Gospel in front of those who hold power or direct the fate of the nations after the example of Christ and St. Francis.

Internal and universal dimension peace, joy and cosmic brotherhood (173:2)

It is amazing to note that the peace and joy that St. Francis experienced was not merely an external reality. Starting from the very beginning his sense of peace and joy simply and essentially drew from his experience of God. Thus it is related with personal conversion, experience of God as love and extends and embraces universal brotherhood. Our mission of peace should always be built on these strong foundations.
