The Assisi Institute for Peace Studies (AIPS), continuing its mission to nurture socially responsible and emotionally intelligent youth, recently conducted the “Unarv-25” student training program for children in Samajwadi Nagar. The program was formally inaugurated by Fr. Ditto Sebastian, Director of AIPS. They planted young saplings, ensured they were properly watered, and put measures in place to nurture them as they grow. The children also actively engaged in various activities designed to enhance the functions of their motor and sensory nervous systems. The Assisi Institute for Peace Studies (AIPS) is proud to announce the release of the official training manual for our acclaimed Peace, Happiness, and and Personality Development Training Program. Designed to cultivate skills for peaceful thought, emotional well-being, and personal growth in children, this program has been met with widespread acceptance. This comprehensive manual is the result of years of research and hands-on experience gained from successfully conducting our training programs in numerous schools across various states in India. It consolidates the invaluable insights gathered from our long-term efforts to empower students. The book was officially launched by Fr. Lawrence, Fr. Scaria Kalloor, Fr. Vinod*, and Fr. Ditto Sebastian. We believe this training manual will serve as a vital tool, enabling us to expand the program to more schools and institutions in the coming years. We are confident that this manual will provide new direction for our efforts to build a generation of peace and happiness, proving to be an invaluable resource for both trainers and students.

The Assisi Institute for Peace Studies (AIPS) recently organized a powerful and impactful one-day training camp titled "Inspire," aimed at combating the pressing issue of drug abuse among the youth. Held under the initiative to promote awareness and prevention, the event brought together students, parents, educators, and community leaders in a united effort to address one of the most critical social challenges of our time.Recognizing that the excessive use and widespread distribution of chemical drugs are significant contributors to unrest, behavioral issues, and mental health struggles among today’s youth, the "Inspire" program was thoughtfully designed to educate and empower participants. The goal was not just to warn about the dangers of substance abuse but also to equip families with the tools and knowledge necessary to foster resilience and make informed choices.
The training was led by Satheesan Master, a well-respected and experienced trainer in the field of anti-drug education. Known for his dynamic approach and deep commitment to youth welfare, Satheesan Master has made a lasting impact on communities across the state. His dedication was recently recognized when he was awarded the Best Anti-Drug Teacher Award by the Excise Department—a testament to his effectiveness and influence in this crucial area. The program was presided over by Fr. Ditto Sebastian, Director of AIPS, who emphasized the institute’s ongoing commitment to nurturing peace and well-being in society. In his opening remarks, he highlighted the importance of community-based approaches to curbing drug abuse and the role of educational institutions in guiding youth toward positive life choices. The official inauguration of the camp was carried out by Smt. Monsy Joy, the elected Ward Member of Muttokadavu. In her speech, she praised the initiative for tackling such a significant issue head-on and called for greater collaboration between civic bodies, schools, and local organizations to sustain anti-drug efforts.

3-Day Capacity Building Program for Youth
Assisi Institute for Peace Studies (AIPS), in collaboration with the Kairose NGO and Indian Social Institute (ISI), Bangalore, organized a 3-day residential training program for 20 youth from Samajwadhi Nagar, Thottada, Kannur. The program began with a welcome from Ms. Jessy of Kairose, followed by an inaugural session by Chandran. Sessions were led by renowned motivational speaker and psychologist, Mr. Pradeepan Maloth, focusing on personal development. Day 2 concentrated on legal awareness, with Adv. Julie JB educating participants on important legal aspects to safeguard their rights and prevent legal issues. PEACE CLUB INAUGURATION
On January 15, 2025, the Assisi Institute for Peace Studies (AIPS) inaugurated the "Peace Council" at St. Francis School in Kokkada, Karnataka. Under the leadership of Fr.
